An exciting journey of discovery through 4 climate zones accompanied by a National Park Ranger: From the heart of Kaprun in the valley via the 3K K-onnection up to TOP OF SALZBURG at over 3,000 m above sea level and an icy glacier world. • Duration: ca. 2.5-3 hours to TOP OF SALZBURG
• Fee: € 14 per person* (small children born in/after 2020 are free)
• Participation only with a valid Explorer Tour ticket

In winter (23.12.2025 - 31.03.2026) the tour takes place every Tuesday. Tickets bookable until 07:00 am on the particular day of the event. Depending on capacity last minute tickets are available on the day of the tour at the cash desk Kaprun Center.

*For the Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour, you need a lift ticket valid all the way up to TOP OF SALZBURG elev. 3.029 m (TOP OF SALZBURG Ticket or valid ski pass). Lift tickets are available directly from the Kitzsteinhorn ticket office at Kaprun Center or in our Online Shop. No exchanges or returns, not redeemable for cash.
