A Journey into the Healing World of our Native Wild Herbs

Together with certified herbal medicine practitioner Theresa Sommerbichler, participants gather alpine herbs at several spots and learn all kinds of interesting facts about their uses and benefits along the way. The tour begins after a shared ride with the MK Maiskogelbahn and a short hike in the area off the top station. Then it’s time to soak in the views during the spectacular panoramic ride on the 3K K-onnection. Once at the treeline in the Langwied area, the next round of exploration and gathering awaits. A shared snack, where part of the collected treasures is used, rounds off the journey.

Top Tip › Afterwards, those interested can take the cable cars up to TOP OF SALZBURG at 3,029 meters – explore Salzburg’s highest-situated attraction, and join the free National Park Gallery Tour led by a ranger from the Hohe Tauern National Park.

• Ascent via MK Maiskogelbahn and 3K K-ONNECTION to the LANGWIED area on 1,976 meters
• Collection of herbs at different spots
